Example of a Long Weekend:
Day 1:
- Arrival at the Sovidek Guesthouse accommodation, where a warm and welcoming environment awaits.
- Evening relaxation in a saltwater hot tub or sauna to recover from your travels.
Day 2:
- After breakfast, departure to Harghita Madaras.
- Full day of skiing, snowboarding, or sledding. Beginners can request ski lessons.
- Afternoon: a short hike to Harghita Peak, then return to the accommodation.
Day 3:
- After breakfast, choose between a snowmobile tour or another ski day at the Bucsin slopes.
- Departure to the airport in the afternoon or evening, filled with unforgettable memories!
Note: We welcome not only skiers and winter sports enthusiasts but also all nature lovers who wish to experience the magic of winter in the Hargita.
The Ski Slopes of Hargita Madaras:
- Súgó Baby: Easy, 100 m long slope for beginners.
- Kicsi Mihály: Medium difficulty, 1800 m long.
- Nagy Mihály and Hadak Útja: Advanced, 600-700 m long.
The ski resort is equipped with modern lifts and snow cannons for a truly memorable experience.

The accommodation is close to not only the slopes but also the Praid Salt Mine and Bear Lake, providing opportunities to discover Székely culture and cuisine. Winter evenings feature mulled wine, delicious local dishes, and a tranquil atmosphere.

Sóvidék Pension & Guesthouse
The property is located in the village of Ocna de Sus (Praid, Harghita county, Romania), along the DN A13 main road, about 80 m far from the road.
The first floor of the newly built detached house has been designed to welcome guests. The house has a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains, Alsósófalva. The property has a spacious car park (4-6 cars, smaller buses) in a closed yard.
The courtyard has a smaller orchard, where there are 2 filagories. There is also a barbecue grill and a small playground in the middle of the yard and garden (climbing area, sandpit, small bikes, cars, balls, swimming pool in summer) ... At the same time there is a Szekler Jacuzzi or salt-tub, which is very popular in winter and summer! :-)

Cancellation policy
- The deposit must be paid within 5 working days after booking confirmation
- In case of cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable, but the booking can be rescheduled for another available date
